6 a.m. Kevin’s alarm goes off. He has to go out and load cattle he’s selling today. Last calf finally born in the night. 107 lb bull calf. Helped it get nursing. 6:15: Hear 20 month old Elivette. She’s at the top of the stairs crying instead of just coming down to our room like Carry on!
When I find something that I love, I feel compelled to share it with others who may love it too. While messing around the other day, I ran across an Etsy store called Smart Bottom Kids (and with a name like that you know it has to be good right?) The shop owner, Darcy, puts Carry on!
**I have been off sugar two and a half weeks and it has been amazing. AH-Maaaaaz-inG! God is totally in this because no way would I have been able to turn down molten chocolate brownies over at a friend’s house under my own power. I can’t really say what health benefits I’m experiencing, as nothing Carry on!
But first a few bits of randomness: Every time I think the phrase “raw milk” I hear Gollum saying “rrrrraw and Wrrrrrrrrigggling”. It’s getting a lot harder to be at the keyboard with Denton my lap–Mr. Grabby Hands is no longer content to just watch. I’m sad the snow is melting. I like that it’s Carry on!
but I really really want… I’ve been itching to shop lately. I’ve been pretty much able to quell the urge and limit myself to groceries, but I really want to get new covers for the girls’ boosters. We did get the car seats themselves given to us, so that makes $$ covers completely justifiable, right? Carry on!
What with the baby having roseola, me being sick yesterday, the girls jabbering non-stop and completely disregarding quiet time as SACRED, and just the general melee, and it being gloomy, I really am glad someone on Facebook posted the link to this hilarious blog. cakewrecks So, maybe you needed a laugh too. And here are Carry on!
I love deliveries. I would totally crush on my delivery people if I weren’t already happily married to the hottest guy EVER. Usually it’s something for the farm. BOOOOOOORRR-ING. But lately, it’s been fun stuff!! Like this light over my table. Isn’t it super fab? I’ve been wanting to replace the old light over the Carry on!
Britt of 4 Little Men and Girly Twins is having a delicious giveaway. And I don’t mean edibly delicious. I’d tell you about it, but then I might not win.
This was a super easy (although a bit time consuming) project. I copied and pasted doll bodies from Making Friends. Using pictures of Aviana and her friend Kaitlyn, I used Photoshop Elements and Publisher to put their heads on the doll bodies. Then I copied and pasted the specific clothes I wanted, and printed it Carry on!
We’re all doing better around here (all the delicious brownies people have been bringing are contributing to that, I’m positive). In fact, I’m nursing at the keyboard, something that would have been unthinkable a few days ago. The girls are doing better too. There are still some kinks like whinyness and disobedience to iron out, Carry on!
