We went back over to see the surgeon today. Our actual follow-up visit wasn’t scheduled until Thursday, but Aviana had complained all day yesterday of her stomach hurting, and was up several times in the night, crying. (Brielle was too, but that’s a different matter.) I just got worried, even though she wasn’t exhibiting any Carry on!

A relief of sorts
She has an elevated temp, an upper respiratory infection, a bad cough, and runny eyes and nose. On top of that, every so often she’ll clutch her tummy and just cry, “Make it stop hurting, Mama.” And I can’t. I can’t help her one little bit. My sweetheart, who is always up for going somewhere Carry on!

Seriously. It’s naptime.
Sigh…

No one’s in the kitchen with Mama!
Even if she stands at the gate and screams and cries and whines the whole time, it’s still better than her pulling on my pants and screaming and crying and whining the whole time.
Tut, Tut, It looks like rain
***warning: this is a whiney, complaining post*** It’s cloudy and dark, and you’d think it’d be a perfect day to sleep. Well, you’d be wrong. Everyone is up. At least everyone is happy. Now. Bedtime is becoming a huge battle again. I thought we had this conquered. But I was wrong. The night before last, Carry on!
About the heat, and how it affects some people
Or, How to alienate everyone within a five mile radius It was all good. I woke the girls up from their naps to get to our chiro appointments on time. I had shoes and a snack for Aviana. I was delivering six dozen eggs to a friend’s dad who works there and had those all Carry on!

I took my neice Cora and Aviana to a KinderNature class called Worms and Dirt. The girls got to touch and hold worms, examine them under a magnifying glass, make and eat Dirt Dessert with Gummy Worms (which was Miss A’s favorite part, I think), make a worm puppet, hear the story Diary of a Carry on!
Oh the dichotomy
Aviana. My sweet sweet Aviana. She is a lesson in … well, a lot of things. But today we are going to focus on her sweet and terrible will. She will come up to me with a picture she has colored and show me the purple in it, and say, “Is dat your favwit, Mama?” Carry on!
The girls were both asleep when I got home last night, Hooray!! K said he should get a medal, because Miss B cried so much & wouldn’t eat anything to speak of. He does deserve a medal for giving me such a restful evening. Usually, Aviana crawls into bed with us sometime in the night, Carry on!
Floods and freezes
Frosty fraught with challenges kind of day and none of them were even because of the toddler 🙂 Kevin had asked me to run a load of laundry every day so we could prevent the pipes to the washer from freezing. I was feeling quite proud of myself for remembering, and for noticing that there Carry on!
