*When we called over to Joyce’s right after Cadrian was born to let them know, Aviana said, “I’m doeing to stay the night over at Dwandma’s; will he still be wittle enough for me to hold tomorrow?”

*Aviana, patting my belly, “Are you going to have another one?”

* We changed Cadrian’s name at the last minute, which was a bit of an adjustment for all of us. Aviana said, “Oh, Tallistwer’s so TWUTE!” Paused, remembering he’s Cadrian now, “What’s his name again?”

*During a diaper change, Brielle poked at Cadrian’s boy parts. “Dat?! Dada have!”

*The girls went over to Grandma’s for the afternoon and Kevin said, “Ah, finally alone!”
I said jestingly, “Well, your mother-in-law’s still here, so don’t be thinkin’ about any funny business.”
He looked at me in all seriousness, and asked, “Are you up for funny business?”

Um…no.

  1. So funny! Kendra hasn’t even noticed Kingston’s boy parts yet, and he’s already 3.5 months old! I guess she’s just not paying close enough attention, or just simply doesn’t care.

I’m glad the adjustment is going well. Sorry that nursing is hurting so bad though. I had the some problems with his suck being so hard too, and got some large blisters, but I used a nipple sheild to help them heal and it really worked. That might be something to consider, if you haven’t already.

Anyway, good luck with it all! Enjoy your weekend!

  2. I am about to fall out of my chair! I especially love the last bit about Kevin and funny business.

You just don’t know how much Aviana and Brielle remind me of my Hannah and Emily. My girls are farther apart in age, but when I look at pics of your girls, they remind me of my girls. Hannah is tall and skinny, and Emmy is shorter with a little chub. Even their faces remind me of my girls. Your girls are so pretty and highly entertaining!
