The girls and their Super Summer Challenge chart. The Super Summer Challenge is a simple program to get the kiddles excited about new goals for the summer. I’ve posted about it before, you can click on the ‘tag’ at the bottom of this post for more information. A close up so you can read our Carry on!
It has been a busy month. I wish I could blog every day because so much happens that I want to share with others or even just keep for myself for the future. I love looking back at my old posts and rediscovering those moments. I love reminiscing happenings I had long forgotten. I want Carry on!
‘Cause it’s all about them. Children’s Day has been a huge hit and huge motivator this summer. I’m loving it even though I’m getting more and more cumbersome and all I really want to do is sit in the A/C with the fan blowing on me and watch some brain free TV online or read Carry on!
*The girls earned “Children’s Day” from their Super Summer Challenge. We went to the Juneteenth Festival/the Healthy Lifestyle Fair/the Farmer’s Market. *They made friends with a pot bellied pig, this calf, an alpaca and a girl named Haylee.*I was plumb worn out by the time we got back home. *And I really don’t need anyone Carry on!
Week 1If you click on the above picture, you can enlarge it to see what tasks are on the girls’ lists for the summer. We have four categories, with specific objectives within each category. Some are habits I want to instill (such as clearing their dishes without being reminded), some are fun things they want Carry on!
