A delightful way to easily create joyful days in your home is to frequently celebrate. We have a calendar which tells us the special day each day. Sometimes, it’s something like “Pet your Dragon Day”, or “Clean out Your Computer Day”, but often it’s something we can do to create special memories without any or Carry on!
I adore winter! It’s one of my four favorite seasons! I am however, ready to think ahead to spring. Looking for some table decor which would make the transition from winter to spring, I came across this delightful hydrangea arrangement. $49.50!?! Yes. You read that right. Immediately my evil little mind went to work, trying Carry on!

I LOVE to throw parties. I have a philosophy: Go Big or Go Home. Kevin, my everlovin’ introvert, can’t understand it, but he assists me in all the ways he can. He gets into it too! I like to have a theme for our birthday party. We just have one a year to celebrate all Carry on!
Things we have been doing: Cloud watching. Sewing. Making giant bubbles. Organizing. Gardening. (I have an unhealthy fear of tomato hornworms; I make my four year old smash them) Being sad we lost the pictures from Elivette’s 8th ,9th, and 10th month. Going to the spray park. Camping. Trying not to yell. Starting over. Not Carry on!
I am thankful we were able to go up to Chicago for an overnight stay. The three hour drive up was not too bad even though Elivette is decidedly not fond of the car. We hung out at my brother and SIL’s until bedtime. My sister and one of her children were able to fly Carry on!
Vacation. 13 + hours in the car to get there, 5 of it on Lombard Street rivaling mountain passes. An excruciating car ride which exacerbated some pregnancy related, previously only minor problems for this starting the third trimester mama to the point of tear inducing pain. Not exactly the ideal way to start vacation. My midwife Carry on!
After an incredibly busy and fun filled week (well, for the most part), now it’s time to go on vacation. My parents are taking the girls and their dog in our van and I am driving the boys in their car. Kevin unfortunately has to stay home but he’s done planting! (Pray for rain in Carry on!
Dada made a sandbox.He plans to make a digger like these too.See that tiny reddish blob right in the middle? That’s Denton–He crawled all the way from me, to the sandbox. It has quite the appeal.Of course, it means I have to give baths more frequently now 🙂 and comb sand out of hair quite Carry on!
