The Last Balloon
Aviana’s last balloon floated down from the ceiling today. It’s fitting since this is two months to the day since we brought her home from the hospital. Grandma Joyce came over to get Brielle so I could take Aviana to the doctor on Thursday…we came home thinking everything was fine, and we’d been doing all we could. So little…Brielle tries to cheer up her sister…Her toe is glowing!She was feeling better Monday night. We thought perhaps the IV fluids and draining her distended stomach had done the trick, and we would get to go home soon…Enjoying a gift from Mrs Hays…

Tuesday
We had to mask every time we left the room. Infectious Disease still wasn’t sure if we could get the other patients on the floor sick too. We still didn’t know the problem. On our way to ultrasound.
