I loved your article on radical homemaking. I have been given grief over the years for my decision (and my husband's) to be a homemaker. People (including working moms) don't understand how I don't get "bored" by being at home. Umm, because I have 3 kids to take care of, laundry to do, food to make, house to clean. It breaks my heart to think what or how my kids would be if I wasn't there to make them breakfast and lunch, put them down for naps, see them get off the bus. For us, money is not everything. I don't need a big house, fancy car, all that stuff. I could go on and on about this subject. It's very nice to know that there is someone out there who actually ENJOYS being a homemaker! I just love reading your blog. I feel like I've known you my whole life…

P.S. I am from Indiana with 3 kids…7, 5 & 20 months. My hubby is a farm hand on a dairy farm. I grew up on a hog & grain farm. We have a few Hereford cattle we raise. I have read your blog since I read about you in "Country"!
Amber that is so sweet! We completely agree–email me sometime so we can be in contact.
