My Daybook ~ 22 December

***
Outside My Window … Bitterly cold, sun glinting off ice covered branches

***
I am thinking … I still need a good present for Kevin

***
I am thankful for … layers and warm socks
***

From the learning rooms …Christmas, Advent

***
From the kitchen …comfort casseroles

***
I am wearing …white cotton pants topped with a vintage college sweatshirt (and by vintage, I mean holey and paint splattered)
***

I am creating …productive members of society

***
I am going … a twice postponed cookie party and the chiro–
***

I am reading … The Shack It’s a can’t put it down book, but I had to put it down because it requires thought, instead of just reading straight through like usual
***

I am hoping … This is the beginning of a wonderful week
***

I am hearing… Aviana singing a made up song to Cadrian, Brielle “making sabetti” and singing Somewhere over the Rainbow, and Cadrian crowing
***
Around the house … some serious deep cleaning

***

One of my favorite things …warm spots in the house like by the corn stove, in front of a register or space heater, where one can thaw her bones.

***

A few plans for the rest of the week …Christmas Eve services, Christmas brunch here on Christmas day and the 28th, with Kevin’s and my family
***
Here is a picture thought I am sharing~

  1. That is a gorgeous picture of your front yard and a stinkin lot of snow.

We have yet to have any snow at our hosue, which you may hate to hear me say that, but as you hate all that snow that is trapping you indoors… at least it looks pretty and Christmasy… here it is cold, but no prettiness.
