My Daybook ~ 8 December
***
Outside My Window … Grey cold frosty–the kind of day in which one would like to stay under one’s down comforter if one didn’t have small children who need one to be vertical
***
I am thinking … MOPS will be canceled if the impending storm is as bad as they say it is
***
I am thankful … HARVEST is OVER!!
***
From the learning rooms …Early American Christmas, Little House Christmases, Stuart Little
***
From the kitchen …comfort foods
***
I am wearing …two layers of pants, two layers of shirts and warm socks
***
I am creating …Let It Snow shirts and onesies for my children and nieces & nephews for Gigi’s Snowflake Party next week
***
I am going … to Target and Michael’s (do I say this every week?), a Mary Kay party, a birthday party and a visit with Santa
***
I am reading … Emancipating Slaves, Enslaving Free Men: A History of the American Civil War
***
I am hoping … My children and I enjoy each other as much as we did yesterday!
***
I am hearing… my Silver Bells Radio on Pandora … My boy Harry is singing What Child Is This. Oooh. His voice gives me the shivers.
***
Around the house … Go through Cadrian’s clothes again–my baby looks like a little sausage in his too small outfits lately & get some more Christmas out…maybe even get the village up!
***
One of my favorite things … flavored coffee creamer

Here is a picture thought I am sharing~
Yummers.
Mmmmm…those cookies look yummy!
Heck, I am a bit of a dumbass in the kitchen but how did you make those delightful colourful cookies?
Yummers indeed!
And don’t all those tasks seem a lot more surmountable when paired with hopes? 😉
Love it!
Mmm!
lol- I think you might say that every week. 🙂
Those tees look cute- and the party sounds fun!
Stay warm!
Looks like I am not the only one who forgot the rest of your day when I saw the cookies at the bottom! Anything with the word “butter” in it has to be good!
