My Daybook ~ 1 December

***
Outside My Window … White! It snowed all day yesterday. I would love it, but we still have standing corn

***
I am thinking … I may have offended an old college friend on Facebook and feeling bad about it. Or maybe I just think too much. Just because she doesn’t reply to my messages doesn’t mean she’s mad… right?

***
I am thankful for … my cozy bed
***

From the learning rooms …Christmas; “Honor your father and mother”

***
From the kitchen … more cookies and peanut butter cups

***
I am wearing …my nightgown–I just got up!
***

I am creating …numbers for my advent calendar–I made my sister’s last year, but waited until YESTERDAY to start my numbers. Get well cards for our new not- health-insurance, Samaritan’s Ministries

***
I am going … to Michael’s (never made it last week!), the grocery store, a cookie party
***

I am reading … Home Education Magazine. I finished this week Same Kind of Different as Me (add it to your MUST reads) and The Blue Cotton Gown (which was a well written book, that I overall enjoyed, but it got a little too personal (sex scenes) and had some heartbreaking stories in it, with no redemption or solution.)
***

I am hoping … I feel accomplished by the time I go pick up the girls this afternoon
***

I am hearing… silence–only the sound of the air purifier. I’m about to bust out my Silver Bells Radio on Pandora though… Got a little Harry goin’ on now.
***
Around the house … get some more Christmas out…maybe even get the village up!

***

One of my favorite things … velour yoga suits

***

A few plans for the rest of the week … my cousin Amelia over for dinner

***
Here is a picture thought I am sharing~

  1. Mmmmmm.. peanut butter cups.

I hope you had a VERY productive day!! I think it’s just awesome that you have a MIL to watch the kids for you. What a fantastic blessing!

That bum!!! And the rolls!! So cute. And he’s going to hate ya someday for it 🙂

  2. “cover your tushie!” – from tinkerbell is one of the favorite lines in my home these days- Mackenna just thinks it’s hysterical.

Funny how Facebook can make an apperance in a day book. 😉 For the record- I couldn’t imagine you ever being offensive…even if you tried. So you are either wrong or said person is EXTREMELY over sensitive.

Are you planning on homeschooling straight into traditional school ages or just now? I homeschooled my second for a year and I loved it. There is a chance my first grader will be a thome after Christmas break for at least the remainder of the year- I am hoping!
