Someone commented that my house was so clean and neat. It was yesterday, when I took those pictures, but I don’t want any of you to operate under any false illusions (although if you really want to think of me as a Domestic Goddess, feel free to do so). Here is my house today:
Aviana’s “Bwantet Noot” (blanket nook created by a blanket over the exercise ball)
Brielle and Kaitlyn ‘playing’ Chutes and Ladders
The General Disarray that is my Life:
And a cat on a snowmobile which has nothing whatsoever to do with this post’s main idea, but I really liked this picture.

Alright…I feel better now knowing that your house looks EXACTLY like mine…haha! Thanks! I thought maybe you had some secret housekeeping gift that I didn’t have and I was going to have to find out what it was.
lol. I expect that cat to go speeding off any second. Wouldn’t that be a sight to see!
And I say, she who has kids, knows nothing of a clean house. No matter what age they are.
Ha! Everyone has these false assumptions that my house is spic-n-span but they don’t see my kids terrorizing the house throughout the day!!! LOL! Great post!
Just an OT note: I read your article the other day in “Country” magazine, and just wanted to say how much I enjoyed reading about your farming life. Alas, I am a city girl, born and bred, but I do enjoy my country vacations.
Oh, and I’m owned by two cats, too: Stella and Bogie. And I’m a “crochet-a-holic.” So glad to “meet” you!
