Greetings from St Louis

After church yesterday, we drove to my parents for Thanksgiving with my dad’s side of the family. My aunt and cousins were back from Texas to make it extra special. We played a fun new game and ate delicious food all afternoon.

When the festivities were winding down, we left for St. Louis. We are here a couple of days with Kevin’s sister, Connie. The drive is long, but it went really well. It helped the girls slept most of the way. Aviana slept the whole time, not even waking when I brought her in and put her in bed. Brielle, on the other hand, was a bit more lively, but we survived. Can I just say how much I love my husband, who still got up with her in the morning?

Today we spent some time at the mall. I never really have the chance to go, and this one is about four times the size of the one back home. We hit PBK and many other stores. We didn’t really buy much, but we had a good time browsing. Kevin got a super duper awesome straightener/curling iron for me, and I got him a remote controlled helicopter. Aviana’s favorite part was without a doubt the carousel, closely followed by the “S E S” (the escalator–not really sure why she calls it the S E S) and Brielle just loved it all. We even got to visit Santa, but no one would venture near enough for a picture. They enjoyed the snow room much more. We got Kevin a new pair of shoes, and while we were there, Aviana saw some ruby slippers. She fell in love. We had to indulge her. She has barely taken them off since.
