A good thing about being pregnant is it’s a handy reason to buy a few “new” things. It’s also a built in excuse for being ‘fat’–which does have its drawbacks….
“What are you wookin’ for, Mama?”
“Oh maybe a maternity shirt.”
“Will dis one fit?” holds up regular sized shirt.
“Nope”
“Dis one?” holds up another regular sized shirt.
“No, I’m going to get bigger than that.”
“How bid are you doe-ing to det? Dis bid?” Holds her arms out in front of her as far as they can go.
“Well, I might even get a little bigger than that.”
“Will you det as bid as… as a whale?”
“I certainly hope not, my darlin’, I hope not!”
Awwwwwwwwwww Jessica, I do love the way they speak when they are that little.
Congratulations on your new baby!
Honey, thank you for visiting my blog, but the Mercedes….well it’s just not n option. It belongs to my better half’s client. We were only “baby sitting” for the weekend!
Even IF, an indulgence of a $175,000.00 car is one I would never take. There are so many more worthwhile things to spend that kind of money on than a CAR!
My poor Dodge Stratus with 120 thousand miles on it works just fine for me.
But…………..If Santa did want to be that good to me…….
Once again, thank you for visiting, drop by again!
hi there…came in through my sister’s blog (the nester). love this exchange b/w you and your daughter 🙂
Hi! Thanks for stopping by – I hope you managed to find some delicious chocolate to munch on. =) I had the snowmen/santas as my desktop for a few days, but it always made me hungry for sweets so I had to change it! 😉
Your daughter sounds cute! I hope she has fun preparing for her new baby brother or sister! =)
Out of the mouths of babes, huh?!?! How sweet! When are you due? Do you know what you’re having???
