My Daybook ~ 3 November
***
Outside My Window … The sun is not even up
***
I am thinking … Daylight Savings Time is the most ridiculous, asinine, ludicrous, senseless, moronic invention in the history of the world.
***
I am thankful for … a husband who brings me coffee and kisses
***
From the kitchen … peanut butter and jelly–macaroni and cheese–cold cereal–I really need to get back in the habit of making a menu list
***
From the learning rooms … fall, ‘through the year’, pioneer themed books
***
I am wearing … my nightgown
***
I am creating …productive members of society and lovers of God
My alphabet book is completed and on its way! Thanks for all the great ideas last week!!
***
Bringing beauty to my home … keeping the house picked up
***
I am hearing… Cadrian’s little baby noises, the girls talking to each other and themselves while they color with markers in a gigantic coloring book
***
I am reading … Raising Your Spirited Child–I’ve been lucky enough to be blessed with TWO spirited daughters
***
I am hoping … We don’t have to get up this early again
***
Around the house … the same as usual–trying to stay ahead of the tidal wave of toys and books and general clutter
***
One of my favorite things … down comforters
***
A few plans for the rest of the week: a scrapbooking evening, a spa night with friends,
You have a sweet blog and a cozy daybook. My kids are gettin bigger and one thing I miss about my son growing up is all his little boy toys through out the house. I’ll miss turning a corner and seeing G.I Joe aiming at me.
Somehow with Daylight savings I have lost an hour of sleep instead of gaining:( My daughter is getting up earlier and it driving me up the wall.
Great picture – so fun! I am not a fan of the “fall back” portion of daylight saving time.
I am thinking the same thing as you. Daylight Savings is sooooo irritating. My kids are totally off schedule.
you always have a new book!
time changes are moronic, indeed!
Megan
ps- at least hubs comes in earlier at night, right?? the whole sun up to sun down thing???
Great photo today, and lovely thoughts. I actually *like* the fall-back part of daylight savings time, and this weekend that extra hour of sleep was a much-needed blessing.
Victoria :o)
Raising your Spirited Child saved my relationship with my Highly Sensitive Lulu. (middle one). I honestly thought there was something clinically wrong with her cos I totally didnt get her ‘wiring’.
Your week sounds fun…scrapping and spa-ing. I’m coming to Ohio to hang with you!!
I am going to read the Spirited Child book. I read the excerpt from the book and totally related!!!
Thanks for posting about it. Hope it’s helping you with your daughters.
