Thank you, gina for thinking me creative. Or kreativ. Whatever the case may be.
Coincidentally, a homeschool blog I read, The Heart of the Matter, is asking for tips on being creative. Here’s my tip.
Are you ready?
Listen closely.
Steal. And steal liberally.
In scrapping, there’s actually a name for this: ‘scraplifting’.
Every idea you have ever seen on here and thought, “oh that’s so creative”: that was someone else’s idea. What I’m good about is doing them.
A lot of people read magazines like Family Fun, or read a book like Totline, and think “there’s a good idea”, but never actually do the craft or activity.
Since I do, you think I’m creative.
But really, I just steal.
Here are a few of the ideas I stole from somewhere, and a few others more specific to “educational” (with a few repeats due to cross labeling!).

As a recipient of gina’s award, I had to list six things that make me happy.
I’m also supposed to name six other bloggers to pass the award on to, but I always hate that pressure, because I never want to leave anyone out, so I’m passing on that part.
If you’re reading this, award yourself. Seriously.
Makes me happy:
**MY FAMILY** all of them: Husband, my kiddles, siblings, nieces and nephews, parents and in-laws and my aunts and uncles and grandma. I love my family to pieces!
**MOPS**
**AUTUMN** fall comfort foods, rainy mornings, brilliant leaves, cider, hayrides, scarecrows, burgandy, Thanksgiving…love everything fall
**GOING FOR WALKS**especially if I can talk with someone while walking
**THE LIBRARY**
**KNOWING GOD LOVES ME JUST AS I AM, AND IS EAGER FOR ME TO BECOME MORE LIKE HIM**

Next Friday, join us at Heart of the Matter for a video blog, introducing yourself! Consider yourself notified, invited, and otherwise coerced…
I think it’s really fun to see how people sound.
I’ll be playing & I hope you will too.
