For Today…

Outside my Window…breezy brisk and overcast; glorious maples starting to change in the front yard

I am thinking…I don’t really want to lug around this baby all stinkin’ day, but I don’t want to listen to his screams if I put him down.

From the learning rooms…Jacob and Esau, not lying, fall food, pumpkins

I am thankful for…parents who are so involved in our lives

From the kitchen…pumpkin; lots and lots of pumpkin–stay tuned tomorrow for the Great Pumpkin Project of 2008!

I am wearing…my “I Make Milk, What’s Your Superpower?” cap sleeved tee, Gap Long and Lean (I wish) jeans, Haute Chocolate toenails

I am reading…Learning all the Time, Sleepless in America, Patchwork of Days (30 homeschoolers write about one day in their lives, the prompt behind this week’s It’s Real Life

I am hoping…my poor sister has that baby soon! Her labor stalled out Saturday night; little to no action yesterday or today.

I am creating…Thursday’s It’s Real Life post, still working on my Winkflash Alphabet Book

I am hearing…The washing machine, Brielle talking to herself in that sweet little voice of hers

Around the house…maintaining. Trying to get the clothes all done and put away. Finally get the fall decorations out and up. Get some pictures hung.

One of my favorite things…manicures and pedicures

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week…MOPS , bookmobile, scrapbooking and Weight Watchers–all tomorrow!–family portraits, start working on Christmas cards.

Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you…

Do two year olds get exasperated? ‘Cuz I know I feel like that sometimes!

Let me know if you do this daybook, will ya? I do so enjoy them.

  1. Hi Jessica
Sorry you didn’t win the bulletin board on Heidi’s blog. I so wanted you to win.
I enjoyed your daybook. I will have to give it a try.
I am looking forward to your Ordinary Day post on Thursday. Can I join in if I get my pictures together in time?
    Lindsay
