Jessica, I was reading your blog and looking at your talented pictures of your beautiful girls. I read about your PPD and just want to say that right now, this very minute, my prayer for you is to feel yourself in the palm of God’s hand, with His love and comfort surrounding you.
You are and have been such a blessing to my life, not to mention all the other people who love you and get to spend more time with you than I do. One of my favorite memories, and you were too young to even remember this, is when you were about two and you were sitting on my lap, facing me and we were just rocking and singing the refrain from “Sugartown”, (which, in case you don’t know it, just goes, “Su-su-su, su-su-su, su-su-su-su-su-su-sugartown”) over and over again. Makes me smile just thinking about it. It was just a special time with you that I will never forget. But, I digress. I agree with your mom about the listening to your caregivers part. I know you will. Just know there are extra prayers coming your way, more than just the regular ones for you and your family.
See you in a couple of weeks. Let me know if I can do anything before then. Love you bunches, AB
